Rooted in Scripture
An Education That Bears Fruit
Discover the Psalm 1 vision behind our name and our commitment to classical Christian learning for the glory of God.
The Story Behind Streamside Press
Streamside Press grew from a desire to give families and teachers curriculum that treats Christian faith as the foundation of education, not an addition to it. Inspired by the tree planted by streams of water in Psalm 1, we chose a name that reflects our hope for learners: that they would be nourished by God’s Word, grow in wisdom, and bear fruit in season. Our Biblically based curriculum draws on classical educational principles, inviting students to build knowledge, reason carefully, and express truth with clarity. We value what is true, good, and beautiful, and seek to cultivate thoughtful study, faithful character, and a love of learning. This is our purpose: education unto the glory of God.
“Like the tree planted by streams of water in Psalm 1, we hope learners will be rooted in God’s Word and grow to bear fruit in season.”

Rooted in Biblical Truth
An Education Nourished by Scripture
Psalm 1 pictures a tree planted by streams of water, drawing life from a steady source. That image gives Streamside Press its name and shapes its approach to education: Scripture is not an occasional addition to learning, but the foundation from which we consider the world and our place in it. Our curriculum invites students to read carefully, ask honest questions, and measure ideas against biblical truth.
We seek to help families cultivate both intellectual care and faithful understanding. As students encounter history, literature, language, and the created world, they are encouraged to recognize God’s wisdom, practice discernment, and use what they learn in service to others. This is education unto the glory of God.
